No Picture
In the event you enter one of Fortnite's favored death cities now, you are going to come across anything... One of several most controversial changes Fortnite has created previously year will be to add "siphon" towards the game. This can be a mechanic who can get wellness, shields and supplies during the killing to encourage additional active games and discourage the turtle. Fortnite introduces it for all regular game modes. Then, one of the most controversial part of all of that is that the epic removes it in the standard pattern, causing the player to say that they really should "restore" the alterations back towards the killing technique. At the moment, Fans will acquire buy Fortnite Items with cheapest price , and once you play the arena, you may get much more rewards right here. Why are experienced players opposed to removing siphons in the game? That is also a spot I'm puzzled. The rogue coaching of the World Cup is forced to adopt a leisure mode, no longer like they are playing within the tournament, or sitting in the queue in the arena mode within the extended game still has a siphon. Now, Epic is speaking about these modifications for the first time. Regardless of the obvious protests of ordinary players as well as the obvious protests of ordinary players, it appears that the siphon will not return for the common mode, due to the fact Epic doesn't think that it's good general, the leisure aspect with the game. Their wellness status in their statement: ? Siphon was originally only applied in competitive mode, but using it in standard mode has also quite a few consequences ? While the prime 10% from the most skilled players are involved within this change, the other 90% in the players are actively involved in the alter. ? Those who play less believe that these modifications make the game too intense and not pleasant since it not merely enables them to not simply oppose high-tech players, but also to possess extra overall health, shields and supplies. High-skilled players have greater than they otherwise due to the presence of siphons. In short, Fortnite players with giant loudspeakers regret the removal from the siphon. Currently, Epic faces fierce competitors from other games, from the nevertheless effective PUBG for the newcomer Apex Legends, who certainly do not would like to leave Fortnite to other games. I guess they saw a drop within the variety of players inside the regular mode following the siphon was in place, so they lost the siphon as well as the fact that they haven't returned to it, even when there are major players generating decisions. Even though several specialists are lamenting these modifications, they will still exist in a competitive mode. If the epic can repair the queue time of the arena, then it may be to satisfy all the content they have to have. A significant studio working its personnel to the bone is really a sadly widespread story, but today's revelation (through a Polygon report) that Fortnite Battle Royale's achievement result in hundred-hour work-weeks is still frustrating. Caught off guard by the huge accomplishment and demand for updates to the free-to-play shooter, the studio came to rely on employees working lengthy overtime hours and weekends. They even allegedly fired employees that weren't willing to sacrifice their Saturdays and Sundays. All the existing and former personnel Polygon spoke with asked to remain anonymous, for fear of retribution. The post paints a picture of a sickly, but familiar company culture. Whilst workers are officially permitted unlimited time off, if anyone leaves, that signifies a lot more operate for those still about. There's repeated mentions of staff feeling guilty for taking breaks and not wanting to become 'that guy', so they retain their nose to the grindstone. All of that is in assistance of buy Fortnite Items frenetic patch schedule. The constant updates, balance tuning and events come at a human expense. While Polygon have highlighted Apex Legends's comparatively slow update schedule, I'm hoping that's an indication that Respawn don't have to burn the midnight oil at each ends in the candle. Although the expectation of lengthy, gruelling hours is often a harsh mark against Epic, the overtime seems to have been nicely paid 'C a smaller improvement more than the unpaid overtime some studios demand. Among Polygon's sources is quoted saying Most personnel don't mind crunching should you be giving them three times their salary in bonuses, and it's mentioned that in some situations, folks planned to earn a particular amount just before leaving the company. In other circumstances, competitive personnel worked unhealthy hours in the hopes of earning promotions. 'It's killing people', one of Polygon's sources said. It's talked about that, before Fortnite taking over the world, the culture at Epic was significantly less intense. There were nevertheless crunch hours, however it was superior planned for. It all highlights the significance of market unions that could offer protections against this, at the very least in component, even if it comes at the cost of slower production. The UK's 1st devoted games sector union was only founded a number of months ago, and it feels like there's a lengthy road ahead of anyone hoping to fix the games market. A healthier studio seems additional likely to maintain persons together, capable to grow stronger at a team. Much more of that, please.

add to favorites World of Warcraft: Azshara Past, Present & Future No

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth will soon be updated to v8.2, Rise of Azshara. We know that the fight will be taken to the Queen of the Naga, once the Queen of the Night Elves and perhaps the most powerful sorceress ever born on Azeroth. She has been present, though rarely seen, throughout the history of Warcraft games. Players are confronted by her "people", the Naga, as they level up. But who is Queen Azshara? Let's take a look, shall we? Azshara's Past Azeroth as it is seen today wasn't always a planet filled with floating islands and two large continents. In the age when Azshara ruled the Kaldorei Empire, there was a single landmass. While beloved by the Night Elves, Azshara believed that all of the other races on Azeroth were inferior. She and her Highborne Quel'Dorei consorted with the Burning Legion and with Sargeras himself to wipe these races from the planet. After a discovered plot to stop her efforts to bring the Legion to Azeroth was thwarted, Azshara confronted Mannoroth about his recent failures. He was enraged and wanted to destroy her but realized that she "was a force against which only his lord and Archimonde would prove superior", a clear indicator of her vast power. Even so, she didn't count on the resistance among the common Kaldorei people that ultimately destabilized the Well of Eternity and blew the single continent apart into what is now seen on Azeroth today. There is no in-game record of the Sundering, but it can be learned in The War of the Ancients trilogy of novels by Richard Knaack. We did, however, get a peek into that cataclysmic day in the Azshara Warbringers video sent out by Blizzard ahead of the release of Battle for Azeroth. In it, we see Azshara literally holding back the sea threatening to engulf her Empire until encouraged by a dying fish under the control of N'Zoth, one of the Old Gods, to let go. Over the course of the next minutes, Azshara sinks to the bottom of the ocean and comes face to...eyeball...with N'Zoth. Azshara, always on the lookout for a bargain in her favor, struck a deal with the imprisoned N'Zoth who turned Azshara and her people into what we now know as Naga. Who Azshara is now With the arrival of v8.2 "Rise of Azshara" sometime this summer, players will finally confront the Queen herself. We know she has been at work in Kul Tiras after Lord Stormsong announces his wish to give the entire Kul Tiran fleet to her. We see her in the Shrine of the Storm and later along the shores of Kul Tiras. She has also had a hand in the Zandalari rebellion led by Zul and has sent her forces into Vol'dun to retrieve the Ring of Tides. Later, players will confront her in Azshara's Eternal Palace raid after she splits the seas to drop what remains of the Alliance and Horde fleets to the ocean floor. Players will find themselves in the ruins of Nazjatar, once the home of the Highborne and Azshara herself. SPOILER ALERT! Azshara is working with N'Zoth, the only living Old God (or is he???), though it remains to be seen if she is working for N'Zoth or using him to her own ends. She has never made a secret of her wish for more power and to be the ultimate ruler of all Azeroth. However, when players confront her in the Eternal Palace raid, they learn that she is attempting to break the locks on N'Zoth's prison. To what end and what her ultimate...or ulterior...motive is remains to be seen. What is in Azshara's future? Why Azshara chooses to release N'Zoth at this time remains unknown. It is particularly vexing since she has been a Naga for over 10,000 years and perhaps might have done so earlier. However, many surmise that she was unable to release N'Zoth until after players retrieved the Tidestone of Golganneth, one of the Pillars of Creation, something that definitely piqued Azshara's curiosity. After the completion of the Tomb of Sargeras where the Pillars of Creation were used to defeat the Legion, Azshara's forces have taken the abandoned Tidestone and she is now using it for her own purposes. As players move through Nazjatar, Azshara, who has the ability to see and hear everything in her domain, inserts herself into conversations and events to taunt players. Heading into the raid, players hear a lot from the Queen as she speaks of her power and has this interesting thought to share, "The bargain was struck on MY terms, and through it, my loyal followers embraced a grand destiny. You cannot see the truth yet, but you will. Oh, how you will! Every move you have made has been according to MY will. The Black Empire rises...and the world awaits its true queen." It is unclear whether or not Azshara is successful in her attempt to unleash N'Zoth and datamining suggests that she is not killed. However, Taliesin & Evitel, two Wow Power Leveling content creators, said that Blizzard developers said very clearly that "strong hints" at who the ultimate end boss of BfA would be are shown in the Eternal Palace raid. Perhaps the events of the expansion will end (patch 8.3) with a raid on the Black Empire itself with Azshara and N'Zoth as bosses within. If so, it seems that the "true queen" of the world will have a short reign.

Ehlers finished a 3-on-1 by knocking in Paul Stastny’s pass at 14:19.Roslovic one-timed Tucker Poolman’s pass along the ice from the left faceoff dot to score at 15:58, but Montreal got it back at 19:00 when Lehkonen picked up a loose puck in the slot and beat Steve Mason.Byron reached the 20-goal mark for a second straight season as he banged in Brendan Gallagher’s rebound 3:19 into the third period and Rychel tied it 3-3 with a deflection after a faceoff in the Winnipeg zone at 10:15.Only 24 seconds later, Niku scored on a wrist shot through traffic from the slot.”The puck was coming and I shot and I think it was lucky,” Niku said. ”I think it hit one of their players.”It was really nice to play my first game at the Bell Centre. They make it hard to get through the neutral zone. So, this was a game we had to really gut it out a little bit. Then, ahead 3-1 with a little more than 13 minutes left in the game, he stoned Viktor Arvidsson on a straight-ahead shot from just inside the circle.Brandon Pirri, Shea Theodore and Oscar Lindberg also scored for Vegas.Nashville came into the game ranked fourth in the NHL in goals-against per game (2.57) and seventh in shots allowed per game (29.4). Pirri’s initial shot was blocked, but he stuck with it and followed it up and found the back of the net with his third game-winner.With the NHL’s third-best penalty kill on home ice, the Golden Knights were 3-for-3 short-handed, as the Predators couldn’t crack Subban with their power play. PITTSBURGH (AP) — Matt Cullen is well-versed in the electricity that creeps into a locker room when the games dwindle down to a precious few and the playoffs loom. It’s one of the main reasons the veteran Pittsburgh Penguins center — at 42 the NHL’s oldest player — keeps coming back for more. When Cullen arrived at work Sunday for Pittsburgh’s pivotal showdown with Carolina Youth Jaden Schwartz Jersey , the vibe was unmistakable and familiar. So was the result.Cullen scored a goal and added an assist and the Penguins took a major step toward locking up a postseason spot for a 13th consecutive year with a 3-1 victory over the Hurricanes.“We had a real playoff feel in here which is good and the energy in the building was great,” Cullen said. “It was a big game for our team. Obviously it’s a huge two points.”Pittsburgh sits at 97 points with three games left in the regular season. The Penguins need two points — be it a victory in any fashion, a pair of overtime losses or any single loss by Montreal — to extend the NHL’s longest active postseason streak.“I think we still have some really good opportunities in front of us,” Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan said. “Until that regular season is over, we’ve got to continue to grab points. We’ve got to make the playoffs first and foremost. Then we can look at the opportunities beyond. This was a big opportunity tonight.”Carolina’s bid to reach the postseason for the first time in a decade took a hit. The loss combined with Columbus’ win in Buffalo dropped the Hurricanes to the second wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference. Carolina has 93 points, just one ahead of the Canadiens with a week to go.Jaccob Slavin’s power-play goal with just under eight minutes to go spoiled Murray’s bid for a shutout but by then the Penguins were firmly in control. Curtis McElhinney finished with 25 saves while losing for the third time in four starts. A day removed from a lopsided win in Philadelphia, the Hurricanes spent the first two periods running in place against Pittsburgh.“Just didn’t have any jump Jake Allen Jersey , I guess,” Carolina defenseman Justin Faulk said. “We were pretty flat. We didn’t make smart decisions. It cost us, I think.”Playing without injured stars Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang, the Penguins relied on their depth and the kind of defensive grit they’ve lacked at times their at times wildly uneven season. Carolina came in leading the NHL in shots per game (34.5) and while it did manage to eventually get 38 on Murray, Pittsburgh blocked 23 others and clogged the ice in front of its goaltender.“We didn’t really get to our game until about halfway through and then it’s pretty much you’re just chasing it and it’s tough,” Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour said.Cullen and fourth-line mates Garrett Wilson and Adam Johnson provided the Penguins an early jolt. Wilson put the Penguins in front just past the midway point of the first period, crashing the net following a feed by Cullen from the corner and then jabbing at the puck until it emerged from the pile of bodies surrounding McElhinney and slid across the goal line.Cullen Joel Edmundson Jersey , playing in his 1,513th career game — one shy of tying Hall of Famer Steve Yzerman for 19th on the NHL’s all-time list — doubled Pittsburgh’s advantage late in the first period when he and Olli Maatta broke in on McElhinney 2-on-1. Cullen looked at Maatta, but opted to zip a wrist shot from the right circle that sailed over McElhinney’s right arm and into the net for his seventh of the season.Patric Hornqvist, who left briefly in the first period when his head hit the boards while getting checked by Carolina’s Dougie Hamilton, earned a measure of revenge 46 seconds into the third period when he collected a blind backhanded drop pass from Dominik Simon and beat McElhinney from the bottom of the right circle. The goal was Hornqvist’s 18th of the year and his first non-power play tally since Jan. 6.Carolina mustered little in response. The Hurricanes didn’t reach double digits on the shot counter until the middle of the second period. When Carolina did find space, Murray either came up with the stop or the Hurricanes couldn’t get the bounce they needed.NOTES: Hurricanes D Calvin de Haan exited with an upper-body injury after getting pushed to the ice by Pittsburgh’s Jake Guentzel. Daniel Sprong is expected to get regular shifts Monday night at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh Jordan Nolan Jersey Womens , with a chance to perhaps be a difference-maker in an NHL game. Sprong, however, will be doing that as a visiting player with the Anaheim Ducks, not for the team (the Pittsburgh Penguins) that drafted him in the second round in 2015.After failing to find his footing in Pittsburgh — and apparently never gaining the trust of two different head coaches there — Sprong has fit in well so far in Anaheim. The Ducks acquired Sprong on Dec. 3 in a trade that sent defenseman Marcus Pettersson to Pittsburgh.Article continues below ...Sprong, 21, had four goals and five assists in 42 games with the Penguins, but he never cracked the lineup as a regular. He often played among the bottom-six forwards, and spent much more time back in junior hockey or in the American Hockey League, where he was prolific. The Penguins (15-11-6) have expressed satisfaction with the performance of Pettersson, who is playing regularly, and Sprong has so far made it a productive move for Anaheim (18-11-5).Sprong has three goals in five games with Anaheim — a seeing-eye tally in his first game with the Ducks while displaying a shooting skill reminiscent of Pittsburgh star center Sidney Crosby. Sprong recorded both goals Saturday in a 2-1 win at Columbus, one to tie it and one in overtime.“I think (the success is based on) the coaching staff and management giving me an opportunity to play the role I think I can play,” Sprong told Fox Sports West in pretty obvious contrast to what he experienced with the Penguins.“Playing with (Adam Henrique) and (Nick Ritchie), those two guys have really been helping me out. We’re getting comfortable, and we’re creating good chances. I’m getting the looks and putting pucks in the net.”The Ducks have won four straight and 10 of their past 12 games. They have won five straight road games.“We’ve been able to grind out points when it looked grim Zack Smith Jersey ,” Anaheim coach Randy Carlyle said. “We’ve found ways to score timely goals.”Pittsburgh is in the midst of a busy stretch — 11 games in 19 days leading into the NHL’s Christmas break. It was his first game in nearly a month after recovering from a lower-body injury.Casey DeSmith, in filling in for Murray and before that serving as his backup, has put up better numbers this season.“I thought Matt was really good,” Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan said of Murray’s game against the Kings. “For his first game back, after as long as he’d been out, I thought he was really sharp. I thought he got better as the game went on.” CHICAGO (AP) When Joe Serpico closes his eyes, he can go right back to that day in 1961.Serpico’s big Italian family gathered for cake and coffee for his 10th birthday. On a table full of presents, there was one unwrapped Wieboldt’s department store box from uncle Jerry ”The Barber” Del Giudice – a pair of game-worn jerseys from Chicago Blackhawks stars Bobby Hull and Glenn Hall – a moment of pure joy that stayed with Serpico forever.”I knew their birthdays, I knew these guys, this was my whole life, was hockey,” he said, ”and at 10 years old to get a gift coming from the two of them was phenomenal.”Serpico Ryan O'Reilly Jersey Womens , born and raised in Chicago, grew up, got married and had five children with his wife Linda, four girls and one boy. The jerseys went along for the ride, tucked away for safe keeping. But that changes this weekend, when bidding on the signed Hull jersey comes to an end as part of Heritage Auctions’ Platinum Night Auction.Serpico, 66, wore the Hull jersey when he touched the Stanley Cup a couple years ago – a surprise present from one of his daughters – and something changed.”That was on my bucket list,” he said, ”and I feel like, maybe I could share it with somebody else. I hope it ends up in the right hands. I don’t know. … I’m having a hard time letting it go.”Serpico’s uncle was a colorful character who served as the team barber for decades, becoming friendly with Hull, Hall and several other players. He went to the old Chicago Stadium to cut their hair on Wednesdays, or they would come to one of the family barbershops on the weekend on occasion, creating lines of kids looking for autographs that ran around the block Brian Elliott Jersey , according to Serpico.Hull and Hall were packing up after the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in 1961 when Del Guidice mentioned Serpico’s birthday was coming up.”He was down there and he said `Hey, you know in a couple weeks is Joey’s birthday. It’d be nice if I brought him something,’ and Bobby and Glenn threw him a jersey,” Serpico said. ”That’s the story that was given to me.”Hull was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983, and there is a statue of him outside of the United Center in Chicago. The high-scoring forward played 15 of his 23 seasons with the Blackhawks, but Chris Ivy, the director of the sports category for Heritage, said game-worn Hull jerseys from his Chicago days are ”pretty scarce.””I’d say there’s only a handful of them known in the hobby,” he said. ”Now there is some from his other teams. There’s some from the Jets and from Hartford. But the Blackhawks jerseys, there’s not a whole lot.”Heritage analyzed Serpico’s jersey – looking at the numbers, the fonts and other parts of the sweater – and determined it’s from the 1958-59 season, Hull’s second year in the league.”This may be one where his uncle asked either Hull or the equipment manager, you know, Hull said `Hey, I want to give a jersey away to my buddy. Do you have an old one laying around?”’ Ivy said http://www.officialflyersproshop.com/authentic-adidas-claude-giroux-jersey , ”and I suspect that’s how they got a jersey in ’61 that had actually been used a couple years previous.”Decades after Serpico got the jerseys from his beloved uncle, he got each of them signed.Hall asked Serpico to try on his No. 1 sweater one last time, and the Hall of Fame goaltender later sent Serpico a hand-written letter thanking him for being a fan. Hull’s No. 9 was retired by the Blackhawks – like Hall and No. 1 – but the jersey up for auction is No. 16, which Hull wore for a short time at the beginning of his career. And Hull was impressed by Serpico’s knowledge of the numbers from his career.”Bobby looked at me and he started laughing. He’s like `OK, so you do remember a lot of the history,”’ Serpico said.Del Guidice died a few years ago at age 81, and Serpico said he wishes his uncle was still around to share his own stories. Serpico’s family lived in the same Chicago neighborhood when he was growing up, and his uncle served as his godfather for confirmation and a consistent resource in his life. While the Hull jersey is heading for another home – ”I don’t even know if I’ve done the right thing about it,” Serpico said – Hall’s sweater is staying put. Probably forever.”My son’s comment … if he was here, he’d tell you `My dad’s going to be buried in that jersey and only that jersey,”’ a chuckling Serpico said.—Online:Heritage Auctions: https://www.ha.com—Jay Cohen can be reached at http://www.twitter.com/jcohenap

Jeremiah Washburn was hired as offensive line coach. Defensive backs coach Lou Anarumo, running backs coach Danny Barrett and defensive line coach Terrell Williams were not retained. Gase will continue to call plays. Loggains was the Bears’ offensive coordinator the past two years, and he and Gase were on the Chicago staff together in 2015. ”We’ve had a really good working relationship,” Loggains said. ”We see football the same way – offensive football and quarterback play. So for me it was a no-brainer when I had a chance to come here and join up with him.” Loggains, 37, made the team at Arkansas as a quarterback even though he’s 5-foot-6, and said he overcame any size disadvantage with his work ethic. ”It’s the same way in coaching Youth Darius Leonard Jersey ,” he said. ”You might not be the smartest guy. You’ve got to know your limitations and try to work harder than the next guy. That’s how you stay in this league – try to outwork as many people as you can.” — The best formula for success against the New England Patriots is to keep Tom Brady on the sideline and harass him when he’s on the field. That’s not a news flash. But the good news for Eagles fans and everyone rooting against Brady, Bill Belichick and the Patriots in Sunday’s Super Bowl is that Philadelphia has the ingredients to do it. The Eagles (15-3) have a multidimensional, ball-control offense capable of chewing the clock and forcing No. 12 to be a spectator. Jay Ajayi, former Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement led the NFL’s third-best rushing offense and the Eagles were first in time of possession. ”You have to stay patient and diligent there,” Eagles coach Doug Pederson said. ”That’s something we’ve been able to do all season long. It’s something we stay committed to.” This isn’t an old-school, ground-and-pound offense, either. The Eagles have a versatile passing attack with several receivers who create matchup problems. Carson Wentz threw for 3,296 yards and 33 touchdown passes before he tore his ACL in Week 14 and Nick Foles has eight TD passes, including playoffs. Foles proved in the NFC championship game he can make quick-strike plays with three passes of 40-plus yards against the league’s top-ranked defense. Two of those were TD tosses of 53 yards to Alshon Jeffery and 41 yards to Torrey Smith. Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz and slot receiver Nelson Agholor are other options. Tight end Trey Burton, who also lines up at fullback in certain short-yardage situations, had five TD catches this season. ”You can’t just stop one guy,” Patriots safety Devin McCourty said. ”You can’t go out there and say, `if we just limit Jeffery or if we just limit Ertz that won’t matter.’ They have a lot of different guys out there that can beat you.” Foles has been adept at making the right calls on run-pass option plays Muhammad Wilkerson Jersey , making it even more difficult for defenses facing Philadelphia. ”It’s hard because you have to defend every inch of the field,” McCourty said. ”Each guy has to do their job on the play. We can’t have guys doing things that don’t fit the defense.” On the opposite side of the ball, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz has an aggressive unit. Nobody runs on Philadelphia’s defense. It was No. 1 against the run and didn’t allow a 100-yard rusher until Ezekiel Elliott had 103 in Week 17 against backups and third-stringers. The Patriots (15-3) rely mainly on Brady’s arm, even though Dion Lewis had 896 yards rushing and James White was a Super Bowl hero last year. But Brady can’t throw if he doesn’t have time and the Eagles have a dominant front four led by Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. The line often generates enough pressure that Schwartz doesn’t have to blitz much and there’s enough depth with Chris Long, Vinny Curry, Tim Jernigan and Beau Allen that guys stay fresh in the fourth quarter. Safety Malcolm Jenkins is a physical presence in the secondary and cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills are solid cover guys. ”They have a great defense,” Brady said. ”It’s as good any we’ve faced all year. They have a great scheme that mixes in well with their coverages.” If the game comes down to a field goal, rookie kicker Jake Elliott has a strong leg. He kicked a 61-yarder at the end of regulation to beat the Giants in Week 3 and is 6 of 7 from beyond 50 yards. The Eagles shouldn’t be tight and they’re not intimidated by the Patriots. They’re a loose, relaxed group that has embraced their underdog role throughout the playoffs and overcame injuries to several key players. ”Greatest quarterback of all time, but that doesn’t mean that he’s unbeatable,” Jenkins said of Brady. ”We’re not worried. We match up well.” — AP NFL website:

Jonathan Lucroy flied out in his first chance at getting the winning hit. The next time up 49ers Weston Richburg Jersey , he didn’t miss. Lucroy hit an RBI single off the center-field wall with the bases loaded in the 11th inning and the Athletics capped their comeback Sunday with a 6-5 win over the Los Angeles Angels. ”They stacked the left side up, so you don’t want to roll into a double play right there,” Lucroy said. ”I was trying to stay inside the ball and hit it somewhere up the middle or the other way.” The A’s rallied for two runs in the ninth to tie it at 5, an inning that ended when Lucroy hit a flyball with runners on first and second. Jed Lowrie led off the 11th with a single and Jake Jewell (0-1) hit Khris Davis with a pitch. After Matt Olson flied out, Eduardo Paredes replaced Jewell and walked Mark Canha to load the bases. Angels manager Mike Scioscia brought left fielder Justin Upton in for a five-man infield but it didn’t matter. Lucroy hit a deep drive to win it. ”We had a couple guys coming out of the bullpen just brought too many walks with them and hit batters,” Scioscia said. ”We put too many guys on base from the ninth inning on and those guys got it done.” Canha hit an early two-run homer, and added a tying single with two outs in the ninth. Marcus Semien homered to begin the Oakland ninth. Blake Treinen (4-1) got the win. Angels slugger Albert Pujols hit his 625th career home run It was another blown save for Scioscia’s bullpen, the 15th by the Angels this season. Blake Parker gave up two runs in the ninth. He also had a blown save Wednesday in Seattle. Canha’s tying single came off Cam Bedrosian. ”We made them work early on and they picked us up every single time,” Angels starter Andrew Heaney said. ”They may be struggling now and some guys are having their issues and that’s part of baseball.” Chris Young homered and Mike Trout reached base five times for the Angels. Pujols’ drive off Daniel Mengden was his fourth this month and 11th overall this season. It also moved the Angels’ 38-year-old slugger within five home runs of tying Ken Griffey Jr. for sixth place all time. Pujols also had an RBI single in the third. Trout had homered in four of his previous six games. He had singles in the fifth and ninth, walked twice and was hit by a pitch. NICE BUT NOTHING TO SHOW Heaney allowed Canha’s home run in the second and a sacrifice fly to Olson in the seventh. Beyond that, the left-hander was stellar with eight strikeouts in eight innings. ”One mistake to Canha that was a changeup down the heart of the plate 49ers Cassius Marsh Jersey ,” Scioscia said. ”Outside of that he was dotting that outside corner, moving the ball in and changing speeds with his breaking ball all day.” LOSING CONTROL Mengden has issued 10 walks in his three June starts. He had only eight in his first 12 starts. TRAINER’S ROOM Athletics: 3B Matt Chapman (right thumb contusion) added throwing to his regimen, one day before his scheduled visit with a hand specialist in Los Angeles. Chapman’s biggest hurdle remains swinging a bat. … LHP Brett Anderson (strained left shoulder) is headed for Arizona to pitch in extended spring training. UP NEXT Angels: RHP Jaime Barria (5-2, 2.61 ERA) faces the Arizona Diamondbacks in the opener of a two-game series Monday in Anaheim. Barria’s ERA is the lowest among all rookies with at least 40 innings this season. Athletics: RHP Paul Blackburn (1-1, 11.05 ERA) starts against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday to begin Oakland’s 10-game road trip. WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals will look to continue their domination of the Baltimore Orioles when they play the penultimate game of this season’s Beltway Series Wednesday night at Nationals Park. Trea Turner went 4-for-4 with a homer, and Anthony Rendon drove in three runs as the Nationals rallied for a 9-7 win on Tuesday night. Washington has won six straight over Baltimore, including all four games this season. Washington trailed 4-1 entering the fifth inning. Baltimore loaded the bases but scored only one run, that coming on Manny Machado’s double-play grounder. The Nationals loaded the bases and tied it with a four-run fifth and then won it with four in the seventh as Rendon’s two-run double put them ahead. “This team is starting to become relentless and when you start doing that you put up runs late and that’s a good sign,” Nationals manager Dave Martinez said after his team collected 14 hits. “They kept pounding and pounding and pounding, had a couple of big innings there and scored some runs.” Adam Eaton had two hits and two RBIs for the Nationals (39-32), who have outscored the Orioles by a combined 20-9. Turner Colton Sissons Jersey , moved down to the sixth spot in the lineup Tuesday night, homered in the second inning, added a pair of singles and ended his night with a double in the seventh. “I feel like I’ve been getting decent pitches to hit, just fouling them off or missing them and today it kind of clicked for me,” he said. “I’ve been trying to make some adjustments and felt better.” Baltimore (20-51) got two-run homers from Jace Peterson and Trey Mancini, and a solo shot from Joey Rickard. “There were a lot of good at-bats and walks and we didn’t get too overanxious against their first pitcher, but we just weren’t able to stem the tide,” manager Buck Showalter said after the Orioles lost for the 17th time in 20 games. Washington’s Gio Gonzalez (6-3, 3.01 ERA) opposes Andrew Cashner (2-8, 4.98) in the middle game of the three-game set. After a solid first two months of the season, Gonzalez has slipped in June. In his last three starts he has given up 12 runs and 20 hits over 16 1/3 innings (6.61 ERA) Shawn Williams Jersey , though Washington won two of the three. In his last start, he allowed five runs on nine hits over six-plus innings in a loss to Toronto. He allowed two home runs after giving up just five in his previous 13 starts this season. Gonzalez is 2-6 with a 3.90 ERA in 11 career starts versus the Orioles, though he pitched 6 2/3 scoreless innings in a 6-0 win over Baltimore on May 28. Manny Machado is 5-for-16 against Gonzalez, while Adam Jones is 7-for-32 and Mark Trumbo 4-for-20. Cashner will be activated off the disabled list after missing 10 days due to lower back soreness. The 31-year-old right-hander will be looking to end a personal three-game losing streak, during which the Orioles have scored a total of three runs. Last time out, Cashner gave up three runs on nine hits over six innings in a 5-1 loss at Toronto. Cashner is 3-4 with a 4.04 ERA in 13 career games (eight starts) versus Washington. Daniel Murphy is 6-for-12 against Cashner, Bryce Harper is 5-for-11, and Anthony Rendon is 5-for-12 with a homer.

Dallas Keuchel had a different catcher before throwing his first pitch for the Houston Astros on Tuesday night. Everything worked out just fine with Tim Federowicz behind the plate with the former AL Cy Young Award winner throwing some of his best breaking pitches all season. Keuchel struck out seven and allowed only two runs over seven scoreless innings Carlos Dunlap Jerse , winning for only the second time in his last nine starts, as the Astros beat the Texas Rangers 5-3. ”Some of the shape it was taking early was really good. (Shin-Soo) Choo leading off the game, anytime you get him to swing and miss at a breaking pitch, it’s acting pretty good, and then (Nomar) Mazara struck out looking with a slider away,” Keuchel said. ”Both of those balls had good action and I knew from the then on if I could establish the fastball in to the lefties, it would be a good day.” Josh Reddick and Tony Kemp homered for the Astros, who are 11-4 this season against their instate division rival, with seven consecutive road wins in the series. Houston is a majors-best 31-14 on the road this season. Keuchel (5-8) struck out the first four batters he faced, and six of the first seven. After catcher Brian McCann went on the disabled list and had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee earlier Tuesday, manager A.J. Hinch said Max Stassi would do the bulk of the catching. But Stassi got hit by a pitch batting in the first, and left the game with a bruised right (throwing) wrist before even taking the field on defense. ”I think we avoided a fracture, very good for us,” manager A.J. Hinch said. ”Got him pretty good in the wrist. Got a welt there, couldn’t flex his hand, hand so mobility.” X-rays were negative and Stassi is considered day to day. Keuchel had only thrown a few bullpens with Federowicz in spring training, and a live BP session, before the catcher was called back from Triple-A Fresno earlier Tuesday. ”The way he handled the game not expecting to play, that was really impressive,” Keuchel said. Choo later walked twice and had two singles to extend his career-best on-base streak to 43 games Patriots Danny Shelton Jersey , the longest in the majors since Atlanta’s Freddie Freeman’s 46-gamer two years ago. Choo is three games shy of Julio Franco’s team record of 46 in a row set 25 years ago. The Astros used three relievers to get through the eighth. Texas already had a run in before Hector Rondon took over against pinch-hitter Joey Gallo, who worked a 12-pitch at-bat into a two-out walk to load the bases before Robinson Chirinos struck out. Rondon then worked the ninth for his sixth save in eight chances. Houston went ahead to stay in the first when Yuli Gurriel and Reddick had RBI doubles off Austin Bibens-Dirkx (1-2), who still managed to get through six innings. He struck out four, walked two and hit two batters. ”To get through six in that situation was huge for us,” manager Jeff Banister said. ”Early on it didn’t look that it was going to be the case, a situation where really didn’t have a whole lot of sink on the fastball. … For us to still have an opportunity there through those innings, it was big-time by him.” TRAINER’S ROOM Astros: SS Carlos Correa, out since June 26 with lower back soreness, has been working out daily in Houston. Hinch said it was uncertain if Correa will be ready to play Friday when eligible to come off the DL. He hadn’t gone through any baseball activities yet. Rangers: RHP Tony Barnette left the game after a 2-1 pitch to Marwin Gonzalez in the eighth. The Rangers said he had a right shoulder strain and would be evaluated further Wednesday. … 1B Ronald Guzman had two hits and scored twice after being activated from the seven-day concussion DL. SHORT HOPS The Astros have homered in 23 consecutive road games, a club record and four from matching the MLB record set by Oakland earlier this season. … Before Bibens-Dirkx plunked Stassi in the first inning, Rangers pitchers had gone 22 games without hitting a batter – the longest span for the team since 1998. DOUBLE DOUBLED UP Astros leadoff hitter George Springer was in a 3-for-46 slide before a single in the sixth. But he was also doubled off twice on hard lineouts. UP NEXT Gerrit Cole (9-2) will pitch on regular rest for the Astros after they made a slight tweak in their rotation. Lance McCullers Jr., who was scheduled to start, was instead pushed back to Friday. Rangers lefty Mike Minor (6-4) took a perfect game into the seventh inning of his last start, a win last Wednesday over the San Diego Padres. — Hue Jackson wasn’t going to turn the Browns offense over to just anyone. Todd Haley met his high standards. After operating for two seasons as both Cleveland’s coach and offensive coordinator, Jackson hired Haley to take over his offense following the assistant’s six successful seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Haley wasn’t on Jackson’s radar after the Browns went 0-16 this season. But after Haley was fired by the Steelers following an opening-round loss to Jacksonville in the AFC playoffs, Jackson didn’t waste a moment and swooped in to nab the 50-year-old, who previously coached in Kansas City and is regarded as one of the league’s elite coordinators. ”He has been a guy that has adjusted his offense to successfully complement and taken advantage of the skillset of his personnel,” Jackson said. ”I’ve witnessed firsthand how prolific his offenses have been in the AFC North over the last six seasons. If I was going to turn over the play calling duties to someone else, it had to be to someone that was experienced and had a long history of success in this league. We were going to be patient about it because there is always a lot of movement in the early part of the offseason. ”When Todd became available, I jumped at the opportunity to meet with him. Once we sat down and talked Patriots Jason McCourty Jersey , it became quickly evident that Todd would be a great fit.” The Browns made Haley’s hiring official on Wednesday. The Associated Press and other media outlets reported the move earlier this week. With Pittsburgh, Haley oversaw the Steelers’ talented offense featuring Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. He won’t have as much to work with in Cleveland, but the Browns are expected to take a quarterback with No. 1 overall draft pick. ”This is a great opportunity,” said Haley, who went 19-26 with the Chiefs and led them to a division title in 2010. ”The Browns have a great history, great fans and deserve to have some fun and experience some winning. I want to help be part of that process. ”There is obviously a lot of work to do in order to get there, but I’ve always been excited about facing a challenge. There is no better feeling than when you can be a part of turning an organization around. ”Hue and I have had some good battles in competing against each other as coordinators and even as a head coach.” The Browns announced the additions of Freddie Kitchens as running backs coach/associate head coach and Amos Jones special teams coordinator. Those moves were also previously reported. Haley’s arrival is a much-needed infusion for the Browns, who have gone 1-31 in two seasons under Jackson. He knows his way around the league and especially the AFC North after 21 years as a pro coach. Granted, the Steelers had some elite players, but Haley got the most out of them. With Roethlisberger running the show, Pittsburgh’s offense ranked in the top 10 in scoring and yards in each of the past four seasons. Brown has developed into perhaps the league’s top playmaker with five straight 100-catch seasons and Bell is a dual threat as runner and receiver. Jackson was reluctant to give up play-calling duties. He was Cincinnati’s offensive coordinator for two seasons before joining the Browns, and was confident he would continue to have success as the play caller. But Cleveland’s offense has sputtered and finished last in the league in scoring this past season. Haley knows Jackson’s thirst to succeed. ”He’s so competitive and winning is the only thing that’s important to him,” he said. ”You want to work with a coach like that. Hue and I share a lot of similar beliefs on how to be successful on offense. We have to score points, protect the ball, protect the quarterback and develop players. It’s not too complicated, but at the same time, it is a great challenge. We are really looking forward to getting to work on it.” —

MINNEAPOLIS — After wearing the same uniform for the past four seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays Darqueze Dennard Jersey , Alex Cobb and Jake Odorizzi face off Sunday as Cobb’s Baltimore Orioles try to avoid a sweep when they take on Odorizzi and the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. With the Rays in a full-blown rebuild, both pitchers found new homes this past spring. Odorizzi was traded to Minnesota early in spring training while Cobb was one of the many free agents who waited out an unnerving winter before eventually signing a four-year, $57 million deal with Baltimore late in camp. Now, only a week away from the All-Star break, neither pitcher — nor his team — is having the kind of season they anticipated Opening Day. It’s been especially painful for Cobb (2-10, 6.53 ERA), whose deal was the largest offered to an Orioles pitcher. The right-hander was expected to be a stabilizing force in a rotation that had designs on a postseason berth but instead, he slumped out of the gate and went 2-9 with a 7.14 ERA through his first 12 starts in an Orioles’ uniform. Through that, there have been flashes of the pitcher Baltimore had in mind when it made the deal. He’s held opponents to three earned runs or fewer in eight of his 15 starts overall, including his last time out when he held the Phillies to three while striking out five in 6 2/3 innings. “Alex is going to be a good pitcher,” Orioles manager Buck Showalter said. “He is a good pitcher at times this year. It’s hard. It’s hard. He’s hardened from pitching in the American League. He knows the fine line between success and failure.” With his team holding baseball’s worst record and buried in the basement of a division dominated by the Yankees and Red Sox, Cobb knows the playoffs aren’t even a pipe dream at this point. But he still has a goal of finishing the season strong and setting the stage for a bounce-back campaign in 2019. “I don’t want to say take it almost spring training-like, but we have to do whatever it takes for each and every one of us to get better going forward,” Cobb said. “When you get hung up on results, I think that you let that cloud the process that’s going on to make yourself get better. I don’t want it to be framed to any fans or front office, coaching staff, that we’re not going out there trying to win ballgames. We absolutely are, every single night. “But we also need to not be so result-oriented and take the small progressions that we’re making and get better. If we want to compete later on this year Dre Kirkpatrick Jersey , next year, we need to get better each and every one of us — individually.” Cobb is 2-0 with a 2.20 ERA in three starts versus Minnesota. Things haven’t been much better in the Twin Cities, where Odorizzi (3-6, 4.57 ERA) was expected to be a key addition to a Twins team that was thought to be a contender with Cleveland for the AL Central title after making an unexpected trip to the American League wild-card game a year ago. He opened the year on a high note, going 3-2 with a 3.17 ERA through his first 10 outings but has struggled with consistency since, posting a 6.81 ERA over his last eight starts. “It’s upsetting and frustrating … it’s not something I take lightly,” Odorizzi said of his struggles late last month. “I take a lot of pride in getting guys out. Trust me, I’m more frustrated about this than anybody in this clubhouse. This has been one of the tougher stretches in my short big-league career.” Odorizzi has shown signs of bouncing back in his last two outings. He held the White Sox scoreless for six innings, allowing three hits while striking out eight, but took a no-decision June 28 in Chicago and followed that with a strong showing in Milwaukee where the Brewers managed only two runs while striking out nine times over five innings. Odorizzi, who hasn’t won since May 8, is 5-4 with a 4.42 ERA in 19 games (18 starts) versus Baltimore. Buster Posey certainly thought he got hit by a pitch in retaliation. Manager Bruce Bochy is still disappointed the Marlins plunked Evan Longoria last week and the third baseman is now recovering from surgery on his left hand. Miami’s Don Mattingly insists nobody on either side was intentionally hit and became upset that the umpires warned both teams too quickly. Posey homered in the first, Gorkys Hernandez hit a two-run drive in the second and an RBI double later, and the San Francisco Giants held their lead this time to beat the Marlins 6-3 on Tuesday in another night of plunking by both pitching staffs. Marlins starter Dan Straily and Mattingly were automatically ejected in the second after Straily hit Posey on the left arm with a pitch. Both sides had been warned by plate umpire Andy Fletcher the previous inning after Giants rookie starter Dereck Rodriguez beaned Lewis Brinson as tempers flared for a second straight game. Whether it was intentional by Straily, Posey said: ”I don’t know. It sure seemed that way.” Three players were hit and both benches warned early, upsetting Mattingly that the warning came after only his player had been hit. ”I think everybody knows if you give one warning after one guy then you’re asking for trouble out of the blue,” Mattingly said. He added: ”I’m sure Rodriguez didn’t mean to hit Brinson and Straily didn’t mean to hit Buster. … If they thought there was going to be something going on they should have given both teams warnings before the game. If they thought it was intentional on their part, (Rodriguez) should have been out of the game.” The tension began during Monday’s series opener when Hunter Strickland took exception to Brinson’s celebration following his tying RBI single in the ninth off the Giants closer Geno Atkins Jersey , who blew the save and took the loss. Brinson appeared to say something to the reliever on his way to first. Brinson was at third when Strickland was pulled and the two exchanged words. The Giants closer later broke his pitching hand punching a door in frustration and had surgery Tuesday. Rodriguez (2-1) struck out six over five innings. He hit Derek Dietrich in the fourth but it wasn’t considered intentional so he was safe from being tossed from his fourth career start. He had a no-decision in a 16-inning Giants win against the Marlins last Thursday. Straily was ejected for the first time in his career while Mattingly got tossed for the 35th time as both player – seven times – and manager. ”My response I guess would be: Were they throwing at Longoria? (Kelby Tomlinson) got hit in the back last night, so that’s my response, were they throwing at him?” Bochy said. Elieser Hernandez relieved Straily (2-3), who had been 4-0 with 2.82 in his initial six starts against the Giants. Andrew McCutchen immediately singled and Brandon Belt drew a bases-loaded walk to put the Giants up 4-0 – the same lead they held in the early innings Monday only to squander it and fall 5-4 as Strickland gave it up and lost his cool. He will be out six to eight weeks. JT Riddle hit a two-run triple in the fourth following singles by Starlin Castro and Miguel Rojas. Brian Anderson’s RBI double four batters later snapped an 0-for-10 stretch over his previous three games. The Giants added on in the fifth with consecutive RBI doubles by Alen Hanson, his second of the night, and Hernandez. Posey sent the first pitch he saw from Straily midway up the bleachers in left-center before Hernandez – who didn’t hit a single homer all last season and now has eight – connected following Hanson’s double leading off the second. The Marlins left the bases loaded in the second after Rojas reached on second baseman Joe Panik’s one-out throwing error and Riddle singled before Brinson was plunked. STRICKLAND’S (LATEST) PUNCH An X-ray after Monday’s game revealed the break of Strickland’s pinkie, similar to what sidelined lefty ace Madison Bumgarner to begin the season after he was hurt in his final spring training start. Strickland, who apologized on social media Tuesday, had shown Bochy maturity since his fight with Nationals star Bryce Harper in late May of last year. Bochy said after the game Sam Dyson would be his regular closer. Dyson came in to relieve Will Smith and record the final two outs on a double play for his second save. TRAINER’S ROOM Marlins: 1B Garrett Cooper (bruised right wrist) played four innings for a second straight game at Class A Jupiter and was set to continue his rehab with Triple-A New Orleans. Giants: SS Brandon Crawford is expected to rejoin the team from paternity leave Wednesday and play again Thursday. … All went as expected with Longoria’s surgery on his hand and he was accompanied by athletic trainer Dave Groeschner at the procedure in Los Angeles. Longoria was headed to Arizona and is in a soft cast for a few days then is scheduled to rejoin the Giants in the Bay Area on Friday or Saturday. … RHP Johnny Cueto, who threw a 40-pitch, two-inning simulated game Monday, is likely headed out soon to begin a rehab assignment as he works back from inflammation in his pitching elbow. … RHP Pierce Johnson was on his way from Triple-A Sacramento to take Strickland’s roster spot. UP NEXT Marlins: RHP Jose Urena (2-8, 4.18 ERA) looks to win back-to-back starts for the first time this season and build off his best outing of 2018. He tossed eight shutout innings Friday at Baltimore. Giants: LHP Derek Holland (4-7, 4.48), coming off a loss last Friday at the Dodgers, pit

Aaron Sanchez will likely have friends and family in the stands when the Toronto Blue Jays open a four-game series at the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night. Sanchez will also have plenty of motivation to keep the Blue Jays rolling. A right-hander who grew up in a desert community halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas Authentic Carl Gunnarsson Jersey , Sanchez is scheduled to make his first major league start at Angel Stadium in the series opener. Sanchez (3-5, 4.35 ERA) was a supplemental first-round draft pick of the Blue Jays out of Barstow (Calif.) High School in 2010. The Angels had three picks before Sanchez was chosen, and the organization had twice drafted Sanchez’s stepfather, Mike Shipley, in the 1970s, but they opted to take infielder Kaleb Cowart with the 18th overall pick, reliever Cam Bedrosian at No. 29 and outfielder Chevy Clarke at No. 30. Four picks later, the Blue Jays nabbed Sanchez. Cowart continues to struggle to break into the majors with the Angels, Bedrosian hasn’t performed up to expectations either Womens Mattias Ekholm Jersey , and Clark is currently playing independent ball for the Cleburne Railroaders. Sanchez, meanwhile, made his major league debut in July 2014, was chosen to the American League All Star team while going 15-2 in 2016, and his 3.00 ERA that season led the AL. Sanchez has faced the Angels (39-35) three times in his career, but his only two starts came in Toronto (34-29). He’s 0-1 overall against Los Angeles with a 2.03 ERA. He threw one inning of scoreless relief at Angel Stadium in 2015. Sanchez is 1-0 with a 2.95 ERA in three starts this month after going 0-3 with a 5.96 ERA in May. “It’s been a battle the first couple months, trying to get back into the swing of things,” Sanchez told reporters after his last start, when he allowed three runs and six hits in six innings of a 6-5 win against the Washington Nationals. “As of late P.K Subban Jersey , it’s been trending up.” That can also be said of the Blue Jays, who have won four of five following their 5-4 win against the visiting Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, improving to 28-1 this season when scoring five or more runs. The Angels had an off day at home on Wednesday after holding on the defeat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-4 on Tuesday night to earn a split of the two-game series. They plan to send Tyler Skaggs to the mound for the series opener. Like Sanchez, he’s undefeated this month after going winless in May. Skaggs has won all three starts in June, allowing one earned run in 20 innings for a 0.45 ERA. He went 0-2 in May with a 4.28 ERA and had a sub-par outing in Toronto on May 23, allowing three runs and six hits in five innings. He avoided taking the loss when the Angels scored four runs in the ninth inning of the 5-4 win. This might be his best stretch since undergoing Tommy John surgery in August 2014. “With Tyler, we’ve seen a constant growth in confidence,” Angels manager Mike Scioscia told the Los Angeles Times. “This guy’s worked so hard to get back to where he was and even a little above that now.” Skaggs (6-4, 2.81) is 2-2 overall in his six-year career against the Blue Jays with a 4.11 ERA. Red-hot Mike Trout will appear in his 1 Authentic Pekka Rinne Jersey Kids ,000th career game for Los Angeles. He is 16-for-23 with four homers and nine RBIs during an eight-game hitting streak. The Minnesota Twins have reinstated shortstop Jorge Polanco after he served an 80-game suspension for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug. Polanco was reinstated Monday before the Twins’ game with the Milwaukee Brewers. Speaking through the team’s interpreter, Polanco said that the time away from the game ”was very difficult.” The Twins are hoping that the 24-year-old shortstop builds off his breakout 2017 season. Polanco batted .316 with 10 homers and 42 RBIs over his last 55 games in 2017. ”I’m really glad that I’m back,” he said. ”Looking forward to going out there and playing hard.” Polanco flied out to left in his first at bat of the 2018 season. Twins manager Paul Molitor welcomed Polanco back. ”It’s good to see him,” Molitor said. ”He had to pay a price for something that happened. He took it head on, took accountability and did his time, so to speak.” Molitor had a bit of advice for Polanco. ”Be yourself,” Molitor said. ”Don’t worry about trying to make an extreme impression or whatever it might be that you might try to make up for lost time. Just be the player that we know that you can be. That’ll be plenty good enough.” To make room for Polanco on the 40-man roster, the Twins designated outfielder Ryan LaMarre for release or assignment. —

The New England Patriots defense has been inconsistent this season but delivered a very good performance versus the Buffalo Bills last week. The Bills own arguably the worst offense in the NFL Womens Stephon Gilmore Jersey , yes, but the Patriots still did what was expected of them and basically shut down the team’s attack — an encouraging outing, especially considering that the unit will face one of its toughest challenges of the season tonight. The Green Bay Packers, after all, field an offense that is slowly hitting its groove. While the Packers still rank only 15th in the NFL in offensive scoring, they cannot be underestimated — mainly because of one man: future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, arguably a top-three quarterback in the league right now. With him behind the wheel, Green Bay’s offense always is a threat to score. New England’s defense therefore needs to be ready to the challenge. To find out more about Green Bay’s offense, we spoke with Jason B. Hirschhorn, who covers the team as an editor for our sister site Acme Packing Co. Speaking to Jason about the group, it becomes clear that the group is slowly getting better and is nearing peak form. However, it also has had some issues so far this season — issues which the Patriots need to take advantage of should they arise again.“Unlike in past years, the Packers have struggled in the red zone,” Jason said about a Packers offense that is good inside the 10-yard line but inconsistent between the 10 and the 20. “They have only scored touchdowns on just over half of their red-zone trips, down nearly 10 percent from a 2017 season in which Aaron Rodgers only played in six games. That drop-off has most significantly affected the overall scoring output.”However, Jason also points out that the unit has improved recently: “That red-zone rate has reached 63.6 percent Youth Danny Shelton Jersey , almost identical to that of the Patriots. Meanwhile, the emergence of Aaron Jones as a lead back has helped Green Bay become one of the most efficient ground attacks in the league (No. 4 by DVOA). Now, with Rodgers’ left knee closer to full health, the offense looks more dangerous than at any time this season.”The ground game in particular is worth keeping an eye on tonight. While the Patriots have been good in this area as of late, they have not faced the same combination of explosive aerial attack and efficient ground game since their week six tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs. And just like the Chiefs, the Packers also have a running back — the aforementioned Jones — that has big play potential written all over him.“Jones has become one of the most dynamic players on the offense,” Jason said about the 2017 fifth-round draft selection. “Despite missing the first two weeks of the season, Jones has become the Packers’ leading rusher and averages over 6 yards per carry. With Ty Montgomery traded to Baltimore and Jamaal Williams transitioning to more of a niche role, Jones should see plenty of action Sunday in Foxboro.”The 24-year old is not the only youngster who could pose a problem for the Patriots tonight. “In the passing game, rookie wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling has slowly established himself as a viable deep threat,” Jason said. “Valdes-Scantling’s speed (4.37 seconds in the 40-yard dash) and size (6-foot-4 stature) make him a difficult player to cover vertically and difficult to corral in the open field.”While Green Bay’s offensive superstars — quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Davante Adams, tight end Jimmy Graham — receive most of the headlines, the more unheralded guys like Jones and Valdes-Scantling could ultimately make the difference. After all, the Patriots like to take away teams’ primary weapons. As is often the case, the battle between the depth options and lesser-known players might be the deciding factor. The month of December has been a special time for the New England Patriots during the Bill Belichick and Tom Brady era.Since the pair arrived in 2000 Womens Adam Butler Jersey , the Patriots are 64-13 during the final month of the regular season. Brady has been the starter for all but six of those victories 鈥?four during his rookie season in 2000 and two in 2008 when he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the opener.Still, the 41-year-old quarterback's 58 December wins are the most in NFL history. His .843 winning percentage is second-best among quarterbacks in the Super Bowl era. Roger Staubach (17-3, .850) is first.Patriots special teams captain Matt Slater is one of the few players left on New England's roster with enough tenure to appreciate that run and the emphasis Belichick puts on this portion of the season."As coach says, 'Football season starts after Thanksgiving,'" Slater said.Just for good measure, Brady is 75-18 in regular-season games played on or after Thanksgiving.Three of their final five games are at home, beginning with Sunday's matchup with Minnesota. But even after the Patriots (8-3) earned their latest post-Turkey Day win last week over the Jets , Slater said the message coming from Belichick and Brady is far from a state of being content."I don't think we've played our best football yet," Slater said. "I think it was a step in the right direction."That's not good news for a Vikings team that is in position to make the playoffs, but is also a few losses away from peering in from the outside.Minnesota (6-4-1) has lost four straight regular-season meetings with New England, though the teams haven't met since 2014. The Vikings have won twice at New England, but their last victory was in 2000 in Belichick's first year.Running back Dalvin Cook said the Vikings are trying to concentrate on themselves and not the Patriots' mystique ."We're going to get caught up in us playing good football, and that's what we've got to focus on," he said. "Everybody can go into the whole thing of 'New England this.' We respect Tom, we respect the Patriots, we respect everything they've got going. But it's more about us at this point Womens Jeremy Hill Jersey , about how we're playing football and about just the little things we're doing. We've got to go in and focus on those."Here are some things to watch for in Sunday's game:TOUGH ON TOM:Vikings coach Mike Zimmer's defenses have had some success in minimizing Brady's impact in some matchups against the five-time Super Bowl champion. Though Zimmer's teams have lost three of four games against the Patriots, with the Vikings in 2014, as the defensive coordinator for Cincinnati in 2010 and as the defensive coordinator for Dallas in 2003, the Bengals beat New England 13-6 in 2013 with Zimmer in charge of the defense.Over those four games, Brady has been intercepted only once, but his average against Zimmer's defenses is only 204 passing yards and one touchdown with a 56.3 percent completion rate. The game at New England for the Vikings is sandwiched between matchups with Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers and Seattle's Russell Wilson, so Zimmer, his staff and his players have had their hands full lately and will continue to into the next month."Like Belichick said about Rodgers," Zimmer said of Brady, "I'm glad he's not in our division."GETTING THE GROUND GAME GOING:The Vikings have the third-fewest rushing yards in the league this year, after finishing seventh last season. Though the success of their passing game and particular game situations have factored into them falling to 28th in the NFL in attempts after totaling the second-most rushes last year, they'll need an uptick down the stretch and in the playoffs, if they make it, to keep winning.Attacking the perimeter last week against the Packers was productive, with Cook and Stefon Diggs each taking jet sweep plays for 9 and 12 yards, respectively. There's another untapped source of rushing yardage that lies with quarterback Kirk Cousins Womens Phillip Dorsett Jersey , too.Though Cousins had just 17 yards on six attempts and has never rushed for more than 38 yards in an NFL game, he's had plenty of opportunities to bolt for a first down this year that he's passed up in favor of a throw after the pocket has collapsed."I can't miss those opportunities when they're there, and you also can't go looking for them when they're not there," Cousins said. "You just have to play and react instinctively, and when they present themselves be ready to attack."FAMILIAR FOE:Sunday will be a reunion of sorts for Patriots receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, who spent the first four years of his career in Minnesota (2013-16) before being signed by the Raiders the following year.Patterson had a career-high four touchdown catches and was utilized out of the backfield as a rookie in 2013. But he developed a reputation as bad route-runner and barely got any time at receiver in his second and third seasons in Minnesota. He bounced back and had a career-best 52 catches during his final season in 2016."They're using him way better than we did," said Zimmer, who coached Patterson for three seasons beginning in 2014. "I think they use him in a number of different ways. I mean, it's good to see for him. I wish we would have used him a little bit better."AP Pro Football Writer Dave Campbell in Eagan, Minnesota, contributed to this report.

The Steelers had a chance to tie last Sunday’s game against the Raiders with a field goal at the end of regulation http://www.patriotscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-trent-brown-jersey , but Chris Boswell slipped on his approach to the ball and the Raiders blocked the kick to seal a victory. It was the second missed field goal of the day for Boswell and he’s now 10-of-16 on field goals for the season. He’s also missed five extra points and that’s enough for the Steelers to consider a change despite the four-year extension that Boswell signed with the team in the offseason.Head coach Mike Tomlin said at his Tuesday press conference that the team acknowledges that Boswell has not performed up to par and that they are “willing to explore options” as they prepare for this week’s game against the Patriots.Tomlin said that sticking with Boswell will be one of those options and didn’t specify when they might be auditioning others, but it seems likely that we’ll get an idea of who’s in the mix at some point in the next couple of days. The New England Patriots will face plenty of familiar faces when the they play the Tennessee Titans later today. But while a lot of the focus has been placed on Mike Vrabel, Malcolm Butler and others ahead of the contest, the other players on the Titans’ roster cannot be ignored either as Patriots head coach Bill Belichick illustrates in the latest episode of the Belestrator:Belichick and quarterback-turned-broadcaster Scott Zolak start the breakdown of the Titans by taking a look at wide receiver Corey Davis and his role in the team’ play-action game. “This guy is an excellent receiver — big, fast David Andrews Jersey ,” Belichick says about the former first-round draft pick. “We’re going to have to do a good job in the running game but if you get up there too fast, they just toss it over your head.”The player doing the tossing is quarterback Marcus Mariota. Belichick calls him a “very athletic quarterback, similar to some of the other players we have seen this year at the position” before focusing on his abilities as a ball carrier. “They run him on some keep plays, but also on the passing plays if the pass rush lanes aren’t there,” Belichick says. “He’s a running back Elandon Roberts Jersey , he’s not looking to slide.”“He’s a problem not only throwing the ball but also running it,” New England’s head coach notes about the four-year veteran, who is third on the Titans with 41 carries for 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns. But while Mariota is a highly athletic quarterback, the title of “best player on the Titans” arguably goes to defensive tackle Jurrell Casey, who Belichick and Zolak also analyze in the breakdown.“He’s playing great football for them Shaq Mason Jersey ,” Belichick says about the former third-round draft pick who is second on the team with 3.5 sacks and plays around three-fourths of Tennessee’s defensive snaps. “He’s very hard to block: he’s strong, he’s explosive, and he’s very quick.” After looking at a play of him stopping Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy behind the line of scrimmage, Belichick and Zolak analyze Casey as a pass rusher. The conclusion of the two plays is a simple one: “Casey, he’s one of the best defensive tackles in the league Cheap Stephen Gostkowski Jersey ,” Belichick says. “He’s a hard guy to handle.”
